CARRICK WINES
Carrick Wines were first planted on the Cairnmuir Terrace vineyard in 1994 by then owners Steve Green and Barbara Robertson. For 25 years Barbara and Steve dedicated everything to the property and produced outstanding, organically grown wines. In 2011 Carrick received its full organic certification and is now working toward BioGreen certification in the vineyards.
In January 2021, Carrick Winery and Vineyard was purchased by Southland farmers Tony and Alison Cleland. The Clelands have been farming in Southland for the last 30 years and Tony is the founder of the farm investment company FarmRight and Chairman of FMG Advice and Insurance.
The Carrick Winery is accompanied by a large cellar door and restaurant that boasts a stunning glass front with views over the vineyards into the confluence of the Kawarau and Clutha Rivers.
