The Experience & Tasting Rooms
Start your journey with a convenient pick-up from or near your Queenstown accommodation. Travel through the picturesque Crown Range to the stunning Cardrona Distillery, renowned for producing some of the finest spirits using pure alpine water sourced from the heart of Mt. Cardrona. Be welcomed with a gin and tonic (or your drink of choice) before beginning an informative tour of the distillery and sampling a selection of their award-winning spirits.
Next, descend the Crown Range and head to The Winery Tasting Room in the charming village of Arrowtown. Here, you can sample New Zealand gins or other drinks of your choice, paired with delicious cheese platters.
For the final stop, visit the historic GT Tasting Room in the Gibbston Valley. Enjoy tastings of locally distilled Broken Heart Gin, made with pure water sourced directly from Paradise in the Mt. Aspiring National Park. This tasting is accompanied by wood-fired flatbreads and light snacks. Before returning to Queenstown to your desired drop off point.
Experience duration is approximately 6 hours from 12:30pm.

As this is an afternoon tour we suggest having lunch or a snack before your departure.
We provide sharing platters and light snacks at the second and third locations.
Yes, however we know good counselors!

This tour is R18 – unfortunately the locations do not take under 18’s.
We pick up from select hotels in Queenstown and the main bus stop routes in Queenstown town centre and along Frankton Road. When booking, type in your accommodation and it will suggest the closest bus stop. If it doesn’t come up just check in with us and we’ll let you know where is closest for you!
Minimum numbers for this tour is 6pax, and maximum is 14pax, so you’ll get a great small group experience!
Yes! All gin purchased is placed in the boot of the vehicle and passed over to you on completion of the tour so you can enjoy it after or later on your holiday.
We do not have any facilities to lift you into our vans, please get in touch to discuss your requirements, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Well, if that’s what you want then yes! All locations will have tonic and soda available to mix if you don’t think you can hack the straight gin all day, giving you the choice of how strong you want your drink.
